Foundations in Astrology
6-Week Virtual Course
March 4- April 15, 2024
Mondays 7-9p CT/8-10p ET (5-7p PT)

Finding Your Voice Health & Wellness is excited to launch its new Foundations in Astrology Course that will begin this March 2024 taught by certified holistic coach and astrology guidance coach Kenya McGuire Johnson, PT, MA, CHC.
The course is a 6-week virtual course that will meet via zoom on Mondays weekly for 2 hours each session.
The cost of the course is $299 (payment in full will be $299; payment installments will total $325 and will require a $50 deposit). Maximum participation is 20-25 students.
The course will include the following:
ZODIAC SIGN INTRODUCTION
1. Explore the characteristics and elements of each sign
2. Overview of the houses in astrology
IMPORTANCE OF BIRTH CHART
1. Explain the concept of natal charts
2. Walk through the components of a birth chart (planets, houses, aspects)
BIRTH CHART ANALYSIS
1. Guide participants in obtaining their birth chart
2. Demonstrate how to interpret key elements in a birth horoscope
ASTROLOGICAL HOUSES AND PLANETS
A. In-Depth Look at Houses
1. Explore the significance of each astrological house
2. Discuss how different areas of life are influenced by house placements
B. Planetary Influences
1. Examine the major planets and their astrological significance
2. Discuss the impact of planetary aspects on personality and life events
SOUL’S JOURNEY USING ASTROLOGY
1. Look at the meaning of degrees, retrogrades and aspects
PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS
1. Provide examples of how astrology can be applied to everyday life to overcome challenges, use gifts, and make personal breakthroughs.
Students who register will receive the following prior to the start of the course:

Access to the on-line site for the course that will include handouts, zoom recordings, suggested readings, resources and other pertinent information for the course (There is no required textbook for the course; optional books will be recommended but not required).
